Hands of Kerala
Meet the people whose hands still remember.
4 days / 3 nights
Year-round
Thrissur · Ernakulam
2–6 guests
Kerala has kept things alive that the rest of the world has forgotten. Kathakali is performed not for tourists but as devotion. Kalaripayattu is not a martial art show — it is a living system of the body. A coir weaver on the banks of a Kuttanad canal has learned her craft from her mother, who learned from hers.
Hands of Kerala is a journey into these living traditions — not as an audience member, but as a guest. You sit with artists. You try. You ask. You understand why these things have survived.
