Munnar from the window of a tourist bus is a green blur. Munnar at 5am, standing inside a tea estate as the mist dissolves and the pickers begin their first row — that is something else entirely.
The Misty Highlands experience takes you off the main road and into the plantation life that most visitors never reach. You stay in a private bungalow above the clouds, walk the tea rows with a field manager, visit a cardamom estate, light a campfire at dusk, and drive to Top Station for the kind of view that makes everything else feel small.

Day 1 – The Drive Up

Day 2 – Inside the Plantation
5:30am tea estate walk with field manager · Plucking demonstration · Visit to tea factory (orthodox processing) · Afternoon: spice garden walk · Cardamom estate visit · Evening: bonfire and storytelling
Day 3 – The Top
Morning drive to Top Station (Kerala–Tamil Nadu border ridge) · Viewpoint sunrise · Rajamala Eravikulam National Park entrance (optional) · Afternoon: jeep safari in the estates · Local Munnar market
Day 4 – The Return
Morning forest walk · Breakfast on the veranda · Departure to Kochi or onward
