Slow Backwaters and Ayurveda (honeymoon)
Starting point only. Change any day, stay or activity once it loads.
Load this planSlow days, shared hands-on moments, Ayurveda side by side. No staged romance, no itinerary to keep up with.
Most Kerala honeymoon plans share one formula: a hill station, a houseboat, a flower-covered bed and a cake. It is pretty. It is also something you could have anywhere.
A honeymoon is the first long stretch of unhurried time you will share as a married couple. The best use of it is not to be photographed. It is to find out how the other person moves through the world: how they react to a stranger's kitchen, who wants the quiet seat on the boat, what they are like at 5 in the morning.
So we build it differently. The days are short on schedule and long on shared moments. You do things together with your hands, not just beside each other with a guide pointing. And there is time, real time, to talk.

Photographs show Kerala places and experiences. Stays and properties are matched to your dates when you enquire.
One or two unhurried nights at the start, in Fort Kochi or beside the canals. A private transfer from the airport, a quiet room and no schedule. You land tired; we don't ask you to perform.
This is the part no brochure offers. Hands-on, shared and a little unfamiliar:
Ayurveda is at its best when it is slow and personal. You begin with a consultation, then follow a plan suited to you both.
Treatments are matched to each guest by the resident physician. Please tell us in advance about any medical conditions, allergies or pregnancy. We make no medical claims; this is rest, not therapy.

For clear Munnar mornings and dry canals, December to March is best, with February and March the driest. For Ayurveda in its traditional season, the monsoon months, June to September, are deeply restful and far quieter. See Best Time to Visit Kerala.

Five nights is enough to do one region well. Seven nights lets you combine the highlands and the backwaters without rushing. We don't recommend fewer than five days, because the point is slowness.
February and March are the driest; December to March is the most comfortable, and December and January are the busiest. The monsoon, June to September, is quieter and ideal for Ayurveda. See our month-by-month guide.
No. A houseboat night is one option. Many couples enjoy the backwaters more from a private canoe and a village stay. We'll include a houseboat if you'd like one.
