Ancient wellness traditions inspired by Kerala's healing monsoons.
Let warm oil work into muscles that have been carrying stress you stopped noticing months ago. Listen to monsoon rain on a rooftop while a doctor who has practised this medicine for decades reads your body, not a questionnaire. Leave lighter than you arrived — not relaxed for a weekend, but reset for longer.

Covers all 10 included activities, every meal, your local guide, private transfers and concierge support for the full 7 days. Deliberately gentle in pace to protect the slow-travel wellness rhythm.
Per-person totals are at the standard rate for 3–10 guests. Solo travellers pay +30% and couples +15% on activities and stay — the exact figure is shown when you review your plan.

We only run Monsoon Reset between June and September, because that is the only time the season actually does what we promise — and we would rather turn a booking away than offer it out of season. The therapists, the Vaidyar and the homes you'll stay in are people we know personally and have worked with since we started. If a treatment isn't right for you on the day, we change it. That has been true of every monsoon guest we've hosted, and it will be true of yours.
What was the first consultation with the Vaidyar actually like?
Unhurried, in a way I wasn't ready for. He checked my pulse for what felt like a full minute in silence, asked about my sleep, my stress, things doctors at home never ask, and then explained what he thought my body actually needed that week. I'd come in expecting a spa menu. I got something closer to being properly listened to for the first time in years.
Tell me about the first Abhyanga massage.
Warm oil, poured generously, and a rhythm to the strokes that felt almost choreographed rather than random. About twenty minutes in I stopped tracking time entirely. I'm someone who usually can't switch my brain off, and somewhere in that session it just switched off anyway.
And Shirodhara, the oil on the forehead — what does that actually feel like?
Strange for the first thirty seconds, this steady thin stream of warm oil moving back and forth across my forehead, and then something shifted and it became the most hypnotic thing I've ever experienced. I genuinely lost track of whether I was awake. Afterwards my whole head felt lighter, which makes no sense and is exactly how it felt.
The monsoon itself — did it get in the way, or add to it?
Added to it completely. Rain on the roof for hours at a time, and one afternoon a walk through the forest in it, properly wet, properly alive with sound, frogs and running water everywhere. I'd worried the rain would ruin the trip. Instead it turned out to be the whole point.
What about the food and the daily rhythm?
Simpler than I expected and somehow more satisfying because of it, everything timed to when your body's supposed to digest best, no coffee, no phone at the table. I thought I'd miss my usual routine within two days. I didn't miss it once.
How did you feel by the end of the week, compared to the start?
Lighter is the honest word, and not just physically. I arrived wound up from work in a way I hadn't even noticed until it started to unwind. The Vaidyar's final review felt less like a spa checkout and more like advice from someone who'd actually paid attention to me for a week. I've kept two of his suggestions going since I got home.

Add any of these to your plan — they carry through to your enquiry. Panchakarma is offered here as an optional extra; it is deliberately never part of the core Monsoon Reset programme.

Yes, for the right kind of trip. June to September brings heavy rain, the greenest landscapes and the season Kerala's Ayurvedic tradition was built around. Monsoon Reset runs only in these months, and if a treatment is not right for you on the day, we change it.
